Abstract
This article investigates investment in the context of Islamic economics, focusing on the sharia principles that govern and shape investment activities. This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of how Islamic investment integrates financial considerations with ethical, fair, and sustainability values. Through the analysis of relevant literature, this article discusses the definitions and basic principles of Islamic investment, the principles of Islamic economics in investment, the types of investments that are and are not, and the impact of commitment to Islamic investment in building prosperity and compliance. The results of the study show that Islamic investment prioritizes moral and social aspects, combining economic benefits with justice and sustainability. It reflects a holistic approach that combines worldly considerations and ukhrawi, not only benefiting financially but also providing fair and sustainable benefits to society. The article also highlights the importance of Islamic financial literacy to expand the acceptance and implementation of Islamic principles in investment. In conclusion, Islamic investment offers an ethical and sustainable alternative model for economic growth, relevant not only to Muslim societies but also to the global economy as a whole
