About the Journal

JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam (E-ISSN: 3062-6706) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal which has been established in 2024 for the dissemination of state of the art knowledge in the field of in the fields of Islamic Education. This Journal is published three times a year (February - May, June - September, and November - January) by Yayasan Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Fawwaz, Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia. JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is concerned with publishing original (library or field) research articles on the themes of Islamic Education Teaching and Islamic Education Studies, both within the scope of Islamic Education and Its Teaching Practices, Theoretical and Philosophical Studies of Islamic Education, Curriculum Development in Islamic Education, Islamic Educational Management and Policy, Sociocultural Studies in Islamic Education, and Research and Development in Islamic Education. All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and then evaluated by a minimum of two reviewers through the double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal. JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam has become a CrossRef Member, and all articles published will have a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number: 10.70938.

Aims & Objectives

This journal aims to:

  1. Be a forum for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish cutting-edge research and thinking in the field of Islamic education.
  2. Develop theoretical and practical insights into teaching methods, curriculum, management, and policies in Islamic education.
  3. Encourage interdisciplinary scientific dialogue related to Islamic education and its influence in social, cultural, and contemporary contexts.
  4. Contribute to improving the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia and expanding its global relevance.

Publication Frequency

JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is published three times a year, February - May, June - September, and November - January.

JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam has been officially registered and assigned an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) issued by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) through the Center for Scientific Data and Documentation (PDDI), which is now under the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). The registered ISSN for this journal is: E-ISSN: 3062-6706. This ISSN certifies that JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is a nationally and internationally recognized scientific publication.

Peer Review Process

JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam applies a peer review process system for all submitted articles. Each article is processed by a board of editors and reviewers who are experts in their fields. The peer review process system in the JUDIKIS: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam uses the Double Blind method, where the reviewer does not recognize the identity of the author, and the author also does not know the identity of the reviewer.   • JUDIKIS menegakkan prinsip etika publikasi berdasarkan standar internasional, termasuk anti-plagiarisme, keaslian penelitian, etika orang dan data.
